How do I create a puzzle?

Tap Create on the home screen, type any theme you like, choose a grid size, and tap Generate. AI builds a real word search around your theme in a few seconds.

What is the daily challenge?

Every day there is one free puzzle for everyone. Open the app, tap Today's Challenge, and play. Your streak tracks how many days in a row you complete it.

Do I need an account?

No account is needed to play. Sign in with Apple if you want your puzzle history and streak to carry across devices.

How do I select words?

Press and drag across the letters to trace a word. You can go in any direction — horizontal, vertical, or diagonal. Release when you reach the end of the word.

Can I play offline?

Yes. Puzzles download once and stay on your device. You can play any saved puzzle without an internet connection.

What do the stars mean?

Stars are based on how quickly you finish. Three stars means you solved it well within the target time. One star means you finished but took a while. You keep your best score.

How do I share a puzzle?

Open any puzzle, tap the settings icon, and choose Share. You can share with the theme and words visible, the theme only, or as a full surprise.

What is surprise mode?

When you share as a surprise, the theme and word list are hidden until the recipient completes the puzzle. They find out what it was about only at the end — which makes it a proper gift.

How does head to head work?

Tap Compete on the home screen to challenge a friend or get matched with a stranger. Both players race to find words on the same board in real time. Every match counts toward your rating.

What is chaos mode?

Chaos mode adds abilities to competitive play. Find words quickly to charge your ability bar, then use stuns, ink, or other moves to slow your opponent down.

How do I sign in?

Go to Profile and tap Sign In. Your Wordsearch uses Sign in with Apple — no password required.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Profile → Manage Account → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and all associated data from our servers.

Puzzle generation failed?

Check your internet connection — generation requires a server call. If you are online and it still fails, wait a moment and try again. The Create button has a short cooldown after each attempt.

App shows a connection error?

Your Wordsearch shows a banner when it cannot reach the server. Already-downloaded puzzles still work offline. Try again when you have a connection.
